Shopping Cart System

Our website uses the PayPal shopping cart system. This is to help you understand how it works and how it will probably act on your system. You can learn all about PayPal at PayPal.com. You can be a registered user there or you can be a one-time user. Our association with PP is to use the shopping cart and payment system. As you shop on a PayPal powered site, your browser talks to PP to load and track your shopping cart. Specifically, the first time when you click on a "purchase" button, PP opens a new window in your browser (e.g. Opera), or it opens another instance of the browser (e.g.IE). This means you will have 2 windows operating as you are shopping. The "BACK" button doesn't work from PP in that it won't return you to this site from PP site - you just have to switch windows. One will have the candle page in it; the other will hold the current shopping cart contents. When you "order" a candle, the shopping cart will show you your selection in the second window. There you can change the QUANTITY ordered or clear it out. So, you do your 'shopping' in one browser window, and you maintain and observe your shopping cart in the second window. When you are finished, push the 'check out' button on the cart. It will take you to the 'interior' of the PayPal system. Here you complete the purchase and make payment - by credit card or by a PayPal check system. Your credit card information goes to and remains with PayPal only Now if you don't care for that route, you can print out the completed order form on PayPal and mail or FAX it to us. When you are done shopping, PP will compute the shipping charges: $7.75 on orders less than $60.00; Free on orders over $60. Sales tax will be computed on orders from New Mexico and California. PP forwards your completed order to us. We normally receive it within a day or so of filing, and we normally ship that day. Best case: order by noon MST and we'll ship it that same day.
